Hemingray Insulator Profile: CD 263  
This style is nicknamed the "Columbia". It was officially Hemingray No.64 in the 1915 Western Electric catalog, but no specimens exist embossed with this style number. The May 12, 1891 patent embossed on this insulator is for design of the eyes for the tie wire (see patent).

CD 263 Hemingray Columbia [020] in aqua. Condition is good, with a couple chips on the eyelets. The chip on the right ear eyelet has an associated 1" flat flake. Also has a couple of small flakes on the left ear.
