Hemingray Insulator Profile: CD 165  
This newer style replaced the old Hemingray - 20 (CD 164) in 1941. The earliest specimens had a smooth base and a unique wide script embossing style, which are much less common. These were produced well into the 1960's, making it one of the last insulators with round drip points (RDP) to survive that late; most styles were replaced with corrugated base (CB) in the 1940's.
